It’s suddenly got a lot colder here in Cornwall, and although just a few weeks ago I was squirming about the thought of spending another night in a tent, all I find myself craving is a night in the great outdoors, cozied up in wooly jumpers and a beanie and a big ol’ fire pit roasting some marshmallows.
Course, my festival-battered pop-up just won’t cut November weather, and neither will yours by the way, but there are tons of cutsie glamping options scattered all over the county. From tree-houses to yurts, there’s a cosy autumn getaway out there just for you: here are Cornwall’s top glamping spots.
1. Tree Sparrow House
Perched just two metres off the ground near The Lizard, this sweet little treehouse will have you running back to nature at every chance you get. You’ve got everything you need woven around the tree in here, as well as the coziest bed between the eaves you could ever ask for. If this isn’t a romantic weekend getaway, then nothing is.

2. Bodrifty Roundhouse
Just wow. Give in to your prehistoric instincts with a hand-carved four poster bed, fire pit and views of rolling wild moors as you lie with your toes dripping out of the bedsheets and the door open. It doesn’t get more remote, or wonderful.
Book here. Prices start at £120 per night.
3. Cornwall Hut Retreat
With room for only two and exclusive fishing rights of the river, this little spot is the perfect weekend getaway to sit and watch and read and eat and drink wine. You’ll see not another soul for as long as you sit and be. Bring wellies and a sense of adventure. Or not, whatever.
Book here. Prices from £60.
4. Melody Farm Shepherd’s Huts
Not quite as secluded as the first three, Melody Farm comes equipped with a fully heated swimming pool, ensuite bathrooms and of course, some serious peace and quiet. Tiny but beautifully furnished and wonderfully warm, what better way to spend an autumn weekend?
Book here. Prices from £90.
5. Soul Camping
Set out to spend a night in a bell-tent stuffed with comfy bedding, a sea view and a campfire to warm your toes whilst you sip on a mug of mulled cider and you’ll be the happiest person on the planet.
