Our Great Britain: SUP in Snowdonia? Yes Please!

There are few things that excite me more than snowy mountains, especially if there’s a way of getting to them or being in them that I hadn’t even considered before. With this in mind, I Introduce to you Sian Sykes and Psyched Paddledboarding, a SUP company in the beautiful Anglesey, right next to Snowdonia.

Sian is a woman after my own heart – she jacked in the standard career in hope of finding a life that was fulfilling. She’s all about getting outside and having a damn good time, and she wants you to do the same.

“I take guests on a journey to discover wilderness mountain lakes and exploring the rugged coastline of Anglesey. I love what I do and inspire people to get outside, re connect with nature and to create wonderful lasting memories.”

Not only does she know how important wild adventures are for the soul, but she’s got some good ethics behind her saying, “I also care deeply about the environment and I educate my guests to be responsible and to look at ways to reduce the impact on the environment. I am also a regional rep for Surfers Against Sewage too and also my business is a Corporate Member by donating to the charity.”

Sian also collaborates with North Wales Wildlife Trustย to help raise awareness marine and bird life, whilst also donating profits to the trust. This is a company we can get behind.

Psyched SUP offer a range of adventures for everyone, from SUP hikes in Snowdonia (please) to SUPing the Menai Straits, retreats, training and SUP and Sup’per.
